This is so mean, reviewing a restaurnat and getting me salivating over meals I can never try ... sigh

but dont stop :)

Wow, now that sounds like a great meal. I wonder, where you get angel hair you think they just shred it or is it a totally different thing? I want to try to make those lollipops!

Hi Lyn,
Great review! I often find it difficult to read reviews for restaurants unless they are in my area, but I couldn't tear myself away from this one. It sounds wonderful. Nicely done!

AH HA! So it's Kataifi. I am very excited to go find some! Thank you so much for the info...

Hi, Lyn,

You *must* go back for the desserts, if you haven't already. The sticky rice bomb with black sesame paste was fantastic, and the tiramisu was among the best I've ever had.

I recently ate at the Wild Tangerine with some friends from my Culinary arts program, and the food was fantastic. go now! It was pretty much spectacular. I would go back. now go eat.

Went there last night with three friends. Everyone raved, especially about the shrimp lollipops. Two of us shared the chocolate brownie dessert and I found it somewhat lacking in taste. I think there was supposed to be an orange flavour to it but could not taste any. The chocolate sauce was pretty lame too. It had a very discernable refrigerator smell to it though--didn't taste fresh. Decent presentation though. In my opinion, the bison short ribs could have used a little more flavour and a dab more sauce. The sushi rice tasted like ordinary Japanese sticky rice. Nevertheless, I would definitely go back with my husband. This is one of Edmonton better restaurants.
